how long have you had the 435? Mine was good when I first had it but after the run in period it is 10X better. PQ even from Telewest is even good especially on some of the newer films that they have been screening on ITV2, Oceans11, Die another day etc.
Sometimes I think that some peoples standards are completly different hence why some people complain about the same panel as some people praise.

    Hi Tomo1971
I've only had it for a few weeks now and i know i shouldn't judge it too harshly yet, but i was expecting soooo much from the hdmi and i was just not satisfied up until last night as i said, the only difference is with my pioneer dvd player i was only getting 625p showing up on the display but with my friends denon 1910 (third of the price) i was getting 750p and the picture was great.

Sounds to me like you had the wrong display setting on the Pioneer player, where as your friends was already set to output 720P, yours was set to 625.
