Broadband being installed on xmas eve, so shortly after xmas I'll be on live.

I will, however, be totally useless, and would like some tips.

    Games I'll be interested in:
    PES4 (nt got it yet)
GR (just started playing single player, and I'm a bit **** - currently failing to rescue some POWs on recruit). Haven't got GR2, will try 1 first.
Halo2 co-op. Again, not got the game yet, but I'm guessing being totally useless will matter less on co-op.

I need to join a group of players who are equally lame.

GR 2 is £21 delivered from HMV. I wouldnt bother with the first one and Island Thunder. I didnt think they were that good to be honest.

Best game on Live by a long way Halo 2

Gr2 is well worth getting (Co-op is great, so is the team games)- dont bother with GR 1 + Island thunder as the glitches online make it hard to get a fair game without everyone cheating.
Rainbow 6 Black arrow is another to get.
Halo 2 co-op is not available for online play - its team Vs team or player Vs player. Great fun and dont worry about being no good at it - it takes alot of practice - halo 2 has a very good match making system that matches you to players as good as you.

Anyone got any elderly relatives (with poor eyesite) that play? I'd like to know what time they're online.

If you get this working I'd like to know. I have an original US box that's been chipped to play UK games. I'd like to go Live but have been told it's not possible and best solution is to sell box and buy a UK one.

yeah just did a quick search before ordering and found £3 & £5 off vouchers for spending over £15 & £35 - i've posted this in the Game & DVD special offer sections. Off topic but if you're after the LOTR Trilogy Extended Edition boxset then you can get it for £39.99 + postage from HMV using the £5 vouceher. It's normally £65!

Good spot. I got the LOTR extended boxset for £32.99 delivery from Game on Pre order. They mispriced it when they first put it on the site. Thats a good price though.

Hi Gordon. Are you lost? Not sure if you've posted in the correct thread. If you're referring to my xbox, it's a uk model. You should be able to go live with it, obviously with the mod off. That doesn't mean you can't use uk games though, as you can switch regions, and then switch the mod off.

Could have done with the codes, but never mind, good price anyway.
