At last - a decent review of the Sony HX1000

    For anyone that's interested, "What Video" covers the Sony HX1000 model this month, and whilst its generally a good review, it at least picks up on the weaknesses raised on this forum:-

    - lack of FR
    - "bizarre" lack of HDD editing including divide
    - timers limited to 8

    And the reviewer makes the point that it was disappointing that Sony didnt add a digital tuner / EPG to their HDD models.

    A couple of months ago "What Video" promised a review of the Pioneer 920 250GB model (which looked great on the preview of the shot) - but still no news. Does anyone know (Rascak perhaps?) what's happened to the release of this machine?

    Same magazine still has the Toshiba RX34 listed as March 2005 release - hope this one doesn't slip...
