Asus TF101 tablet, bought from these forums, over a year ago. Has been rooted and is currently running Android 4.1.2 and Cyanogen Mod 10 over the top.
Boxed, no scratches to the screen and comes with new charger (standard one is too short) and LuvTab RED Asus EeePad Transformer wallet/stand which is very helpful on a flat surface. Also a red neoprene soft type sleeve

Only downside is that it can sometimes be temperamental with switching on. A well known issue, as I discovered, with these devices is ASUS did a poor job on the build quality of the power buttons and the board that sits behind them so sometimes a very firm press/mash of the power and volume buttons is required, this has meant over time that the paint on the power button has worn off. Additionally though it can mean that you sometimes need to plug it in to the mains to wake it up instead of just hitting the buttons. It's been predominantly a house tablet so it's never been a major issue, I would just plug it in and the screen would pop back to life, and it's never not worked but in the interests of full disclosure you need to know. It still holds a full charge and is just as responsive as it was when I got it.

Only actually selling as I still use my Galaxy S2 as my primary device for reading and surfing.

    Price dropped to £80 delivered.

    Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk

Still works great, stays charged on standby for a week, screen is immaculate.

Come on, why take the risk with a cheap chinese tablet? :)

Hello, it's entirely random, I find it happens every few months, nothing significant. Perhaps I've given the wrong impression with my description, it doesn't stop working at all, you plug just it in, the lock screen reappears and you can then carry on like nothing ever happened.

I was checking out this topic to see what other people were selling their TF101's for and just wanted to mention that my TF101 also sometimes does the exact same thing mentioned by this seller. If you hold the power button for a long time however the screen will suddenly come on.

Edit: By "a long time" I mean about 30 seconds!

It's very common with TF101's and really nothing to worry about at all. Mine first did it soon after I purchased it brand new in August 2011. It's done it once every few months to me also so it's pretty rare and not a problem whatsoever.

    Good luck with the sale!

Might be interested in this. Is it out of warranty, which might have had the button fixed?

Thank you for your input AVJay :) certainly does seem to common amongst TF101 owners, if it wasn't for the fact I use my S2 so much still I would gladly keep it, the screen is great I think.

marvi0 - out of warranty yes, I have the original box and receipt of course, warranty ran out in Nov 2012 I believe.

    Hello,

Just back from hols so just catching up. snowy2004, no it's just the tablet.

Here is a vid of the tablet in use, very shaky but shows it works perfectly, doesn't do Borgen or Plex any justice of course :)

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/gkespwhs8qj2iih/20130903_101835.mp4

at 03:52 into the video you see what is essentially the problem but in reverse, I tried to switch it into standby by just pressing the power button briefly and it doesn't respond, if I tried it a few more times with varying levels of firmness it would have, this is the same symptom as when the screen is off and it won't "wake up" because the power button isn't recognising the pressure.

Few pics, again excuse the quality, should have been better so if there is something specific you want to see just let me know and I'll take some more.

    Hi SyQuest,

Ok sure, what kind of pictures would you like? Anything in particular?

In answer to your PM message, which you need to keep on here as per the rules, yes it is only the power/volume buttons that pose a problem and that's rarely an issue if you can just press firmly or plug it in to wake it up instead. I wouldn't sell for £70 delivered but I could meet you in the middle at £75 but it would be cheapest/slowest postal option possible.

    Cheers
