I'm building a matx system probably with an already purchased AMD FX6300 cpu and RX 460 graphics.

The main difference in the mobos seems to be onboard graphics on the Asus (which i presume i don't need) and a better (?) chipset on the AsRock.

I'm frankly not that techie so i'd appreciate thoughts on which would be the better mobo choice? Or something different?

Many thanks.

Without knowing which of it's features you're likely to use it's hard to say.

With 6-8 year old chipsets like that I'd be inclined to just buy the cheapest, neither have much in the way of support for recent technologies.

Thanks for that. I was very surprised to find that there really don't seem to be any more up-to-date options in terms of mATX AMD motherboards. It seems you have to go ATX and/or intel. Or am i missing something?
