ASUS M2NPV-VM - Better alternative ne1?

    Hi Im thinking of buying the asus ASUS M2NPV-VM, it has everything I want except:

    HMDI Output
    Digital Audi

    Does anyone know of a matx board whitch may be more suitable? Also if anyone has experience with the onboard graphics of the M2NPV-VM i'd love to hear their opinions :)

    Ive been pricing up a media centre lately and this is the board I keep finding myself looking at.

    There is the m2n-vm which has VGA and DVI-D out. Theres 8 channel coaxial spdif on the back plus there is a header for an spdif addon so you can have fibre optic out. AM2, GF6100, SATAII, DDR2 800, RAID0,1,0+1,5 etc.

    The m2npv-vm is good though. It has component out and you can get the addon card to get component out and fibre optic out.
    Im swaying toward the m2npv-vm because of the component out.


    After hours of searching its the best I can find with onbaord graphics and sound. The DVI is DVI-D but there is also a

    Something without onboard graphics, or at least PCIe x 16.

    Whats wrong with onboard graphics? Is there a significant difference in quality?
    I was gonna use a case which could only hold one pci card.. the tv card.

    The Abit NF-M2 is very similar to the Asus M2NPV-VM board you have suggested. Maybe take a look and the Ups and downs of each.
