Hello all, my first thread, here goes

I have an Onkyo TX-SR653E which connects to my plasma ( Panasonic TH-42PHD7 )via component

On the reciever there is 3 component inputs, this is where I am confused.

    Connections I curently have -

Video 1 = SKY+ via s-video and optical for sound
    Video 2 = XBOX 360 via component
Video 3 = Wii via component

Yesterday I purchased a Tosh HDE-1 for HD-DVD ( This seems to be a good player to upscale from component at 720p/1080i

How do I connect the new player as all video slots are used, but there is 1 component slot free?

Any recommendations / assistance would be appreciated

    thanks

    Wayne

    Hello wayneedyson

Not sure why your confused - your Onkyo AV Receiver has all the connectivity you require.

    SKY+ - s-video + optical
    XBOX360 - 3RCA (component) + optical
    Wii - 3RCA (component) + 2RCA (stereo)
    HDE-1 - - 3RCA (component) + optical

And a single 3RCA (component) output to the Display.
