I have a late (2002) factory refurb T20 (aka Audiolab 8000T I think) which sounds quite superb. However one of the three backlight display bulbs has blown which I understand was a common problem with the model. I understand they are soldered in but wondered if anyone could help with details of the bulb type/spec and what sort of repairer I should contact (recommendations appreciated) in order to get it fixed? Oh, how long will they last once replaced (roughly) and should I replace all three at the same time?

Thanks, hopefully for any help.

Have you tried the IAG helpdesk?

There's a guy on eBay at the moment who sells the bulbs as 4 for 10.50 (one spare!). He'll fit them for an extra £20. Not used him myself but feedback looks good.
Search under "audiolab".

I'd replace them all at one, as they've all been burning the same length of time, and it would be only a matter of time before the others went.

I might get some myself for my cdt20r (just in case...)

I hope that helps!
