It would work together yes and I have an unused stock Intel cooler. I would need £155 + postage for that bundle, with the ssd.

I would rather keep the bundles as they are though. The Z97, k-processor and ram are better suited together. You can't overclock and take advantage of the 4690k on a h81 so the Xeon would better in the h81 and the DDR3 is far too fast to waste at standard 1600 speeds in the h81.

The 4690k is 3.5ghz boost to 3.9ghz, 4 cores 4 threads
The Xeon is 3.5ghz boost to 3.8ghz, 4 cores, 8 threads so very little difference single core and much faster multi core with 8 threads and more cache

I can do the Xeon with the h81 board & ssd for £110 delivered and you could buy ram from here - undefined - CeX (UK): - Buy, Sell, Donate. I think I have a Geforce 8800 I can throw in for free with it too. Need to have a hoke in my box of bits.

That would have you set up for under £145 :)

That CPU will be fine for gaming at 60fps.will be using it with 5600.

2nd bundle
Hi - I have an almost identical 4670k setup that is still working well, but would be happy to swap these in (if the mb is holding up in all areas) so that I can keep mine as reliable spares. If it is any good to you I will offer £130 inclusive.

Hi, I could do £150 delivered. It's going to cost the best part of £10 to post. Everything working as it should. The Z97 board is missing one clip on one of the pcie slots but doesn't affect anything.

Thanks for the offer but I think I will pass - worth it at 130 to give me spares, but I would really need to be upgrading to spend more. Also not sure if a heavy card would stay in place without that clip - just tried to get one off mine to see if they are movable, but no luck.

I've just moved the clip from the bottom PCI slot to the top. A gtx1080 sat in there without any issues and they don't come much bigger than that.

I just couldn't come any lower than £150. I'll try eBay if I've no luck here, I think its Avery good value bundle at that

I'd have taken this if it wasn't for the missing clip, doh!

Are you willing to split by any chance?

I have old motherboards in the loft I'm sure I could scavenge a clip from if you bear with me for 10mins.

Would prefer to sell was a bundle.

I would meet you at £140 for the bundle if everything else is perfect - otherwise I'm out.

Sorry buddy, I've already come from £165+postage.

Absolute best would be £140 plus postage of your choice on top.

I found a clip from a MSI board but it didn't fit. I can do the same deal as above £140 plus postage of your choice.

Fair enough, £140 was stretching it for me for older gear so is my limit, so will leave it for Sabotaj if he wants it.

Call it a round £200? I'll post it tomorrow with royal mail special delivery which costs £11 for that. I could post uninsured with first class for the £195.

1st class is fine for me, and if recorded you'll get £50 insurance. It's really about whether you want the full insurance? I think for both our sake maybe we just go for the £200inc option considering circumstances!
