After 5 years of having the left and right hand side of our screen missing (chopping short credits etc!), thanks to lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks i have finally solved the problem.

I had p*ssed around with the TV remote over the years thinking it was the TV but when I got the plasma i had to finally find a solution :lesson: a quick search here sent me in the direction of the Sky box which i found had not been set to 16:9!

So thanks forum!

I hope you set it to output RGB at the same time. :) :smashin:

    What’s the difference?

RGB on mine makes the picture colours look too bright and cartoony and also the menu pages are les stable.

Set to RGB, and contrast LOW. Then readjust your screen if the colour looks off (or it may be that you've adjusted to crappy composite and forgotten what a good picture looks like LOL!!!)
