I have been offered one of the above projectors for what i think is a reasonable price (£300)

Does anyone have any information on them? Would this be a decent projector for a first time user?

I am looking to project an image the size of around 8-9', would this projector do it from around 15' away?

As much info as possible needed.

Thanks guys!

Can someone decipher this for me

Ta mate,

Things that i need to know:

Will it produce a widescreen image? (it says 4:3)
Will I be able to connect up my DVD player, Xbox and Telewest box?

Checking on ProjectorCentral.com has confirmed that it will produce a large enough image for me but I have been told that this is classed as a 'Data Projector' and therefore is not ideal.

You may have guessed from the questions above that I really have no idea what I am talking about.

The crux of it all is, essentially, would it be a good idea to snap this up or should I maybe hang on for something better to come along. I see that a Panny A100 recently went in the classifieds for around the same amount of money, would this be better or worse than the Panny or something similar.

Thanks again

Without component video, its not looking good WS on a 4:3 PJ is like WS on a 4:3 TV thin image in the middle! if it will take RGB over the VGA might be ok but if limited to S-video or even composite then not worth it IMO mate! (guess it depends how badly you want a PJ and how much £300 will burn in your pocket).
