    Hey,

I have seen a surround sound package including a dvd player in asda for £79. What I would like to know is:

    1. Is this any good?
    2. Will it allow me to play sky+ surround sound through it?
    3. Is it worth the money or are there any other better packages for the same amount?
    4. Is the sound quality good?

    Thankyou

    1. For the money, I would say awesome. In comparison to a more expensive system...?

    2. If it has an optical in, yes. If not, no.

    3. At that price point, I would say they are all much the same.

    4. You are paying around £8 per speaker (if the played part is £30). Again, for the cost I would guess it is great. Is it "good" compared to a more expensive system? Kinda doubt it.

As with everything, you get what you pay for.
