Hi all

looking to get a 65inch tv for Xmas. Have my eye on the Philips ambilight 9435 but for a £1,000 it costs I could get a Sony XH or LG nano cell which look better tv’s. What I am wanting is the ambilight function as it will be wall mounted on a big wall and will look pretty good. I know there is light stops you can get but they are just lights, is there anything similar to ambilight that interacts with the screen I can purchase?

Not that interacts with the screen no, only with external sources.

There are cheaper models in the Philips range with ambilight if the PUS9435 doesn't look good value to you.

EDIT Which Sony/LG models are you looking at specifically? XH just denotes a 4K (X) 2020 (H) model, while nano cell is LG's brand name for the upper half of it's LCD range.

Hi Sony XH9005 or LG 65nano906na

it’s not the value I really like the look of the sound bar and ambilight just not sure if screen is as good as the other two
