Does the component input on the Arcam allow RGB signal or just YUV?

My tv box has RGB out through SCART i was thinking if i coul connect an SCART-Component(RCA) cable to pass RGB through the receiver and then component out to the projector (HS10).

Is it possible or i need a converter like JS?

    Thanks!

You can configure the component output to RGB or YUV but not both (ie you can't use RGB for one source and YUV for another). Obviously the AVR300 with not convert one to the other either.
This is done in the General Settings Menu 1, under "HQ Video". There have been a number of threads re: component to scart leads.

    Hi Mutley,

As Greggles has said, the AVR300 will not convert between RGB and YUV.

I was in the same situation as you, and I went with the JSTech RGB to YUV convertor to send the signal through the AVR300 and onto my projector. It works a treat and I am sure you won't be disappointed. All you have to do shell out the cash for the JSTech

    Cheers

    Andy
