    Just started watching 'Around the world in 80 days'. The quality does not seem too good. Bought it from CD-Wow, it was advertised as region free. Looks like its from Hong Kong. Looks very similar to a print that you see at the cinema, e.g. black spots, etc. Anyone else had this problem

    There is a warning on an asian website about the HK release have poor picture and sound quality, maybe its taken from the same soruce.

    Now i have watched it in full, it really is a poor version. Sound seems ok but the picture is sub vhs standard :mad:

    Dan, my girlfriend got this too and I thought it was rubbish aswell. The transfer looks more like VCD. You live and learn I suppose :thumbsdow

    After reading the poor reviews and noting that the soundtrack was only Dolby Surround and not 5.1, I sent my copy back unopened to CD-WOW yesterday for a refund.

    This happened with Bullet Proof monk as well!

    It's apparentley rushed out over there as piracy is so rife, especially with Jackie Chan and other martial artist's films, that the studioes try and get SOME money back by releasing these titles quickly.
