Howie....you could try the following number...not sure if it's still valid, but they used to sell Ariston spares.

    Manticore (tel: 01767 318437)

I also have one of these lurking in my loft.....will have a look to see if I have a spare belt if the number above is no help....good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion, but had already tried Manticore and they don't seem to exist anymore, unless anyone knows differently.

Thats a shame,Howie as it's about the only net listed source of parts.....only other possibility is if a belt from another turntable might fit....maybe from an LP12?

I'll have a look in my loft and see if there's any bits there that may help as I dont use my Ariston.

    Hi

I have been trying to get a new drivebelt for my RD11 Superieur for some time now. The only places I have found that sell them are in the US and they want about $37 for one, so any info on your success would be appreciated.

Have found no UK suppliers, but have placed an order with US company lpgear.com
they have a vast range of belts and other stuff. With registered air mail it comes to $37.20. Not too bad if it lasts another 29 years. I'll report when it arrives.
