Looks dodgy to me too, if you click on any link on the page it takes you to the normal argos page, however that is a different web address. If you search for PS3 on the argos website you get nothing.

sounds to me like you are signing yourselves up for all sorts of spam and that this isn't argos, I guess the only answer is to ring or e-mail argos to check.

Whilst it may well be ligit, I'd still be careful. It's incredibly easy to forge a 'from' field in an email...

Jus tbe wary... email argos direct from the mail website, and ask them direct if they are taking preorders, and ask them about the email.

For your own sakes, I'd hold off until it's confirmed.

Ahh... just re-read the bit about having received email for ages... well, I'd still check it. Not exactly good practise for a company the size of argos to do wierd practises like that...?
