ARGH! My explorer bar has gone 'poof'!

You know when you load My Computer, there is a bar on the left which tells you all you need to know about drive size, filled capacity etc? Well I turned my PC on today to see it's disappeared and I can't get it back! I've gone onto the top menu and found Explorer Bar, checked any of them and I can get History etc. in to the bar but not what I want which is the standard "Disk Type" etc.

Any help?

Well I'm blowed. I thought, yeah, I can find that. No ways hose A!

I know exactly what you mean but I thought mine was like that but isn't, and I could not find a way to get the drive size / capacity etc.

Odd and curious!

Open up the "my computer".
Go to "Tools",at the top of the screen.
Select "Folder Options".
Now,in the General Section, you will have a section at the top called "Tasks".
Make sure you select "Show common tasks in folders" ,and press apply.
that should do it.
now have someone slap the back of your "clicky" hand, with a ruler, and tell yourself not to play with that window again.:rotfl::rotfl:

RottenFox, thank you sooooooo much! If I could give you another thanks, you'd get it. But you've got 440...don't get greedy.
