Anyone confirm that the Nationwide card /does/ cover plasmas for the extra year warrenty? I noticed in some of their documents that I got (credit card also arrived today!) that it covers "TVs up to 39 inches" !?!?!

I've just registered my 42PE30 Viera this week with the Nationwide extra year warranty - they will cover plasmas provided they cost less then 3.5K. There is no limit on the size of the plasma according to the person I spoke to. I presume the 39 inch refers to conventional CRT (can you get them that big??) or maybe RPTV. Got my policy doc and certificate a few days ago so they definitely do cover 42 inch plasmas.

Must also say that in other respects we have found the Nationwide a pleasure to deal with and I've always found their interest rates very competitive compared to some of the non-mutual banks and building societies. And no, I don't work for them, I'm just a satisfied customer! Gotta go, watching Monsters Inc with the kids on the plasma - superb!!!!
