just as the name says, if possible tell us what mount etc.
Not currently using a ceiling mount but will be converting over the next month or so.
Ask again in Jan, hehehe
I'm using a DIY mount which you can see here:
Scroll down to the current MKII version. Only cost £12, and can be easily modded by using a part from the other mount (two in a box) and a loger bolt so that you have full range of motion.
I've also got a flush mount that will put a pj less than an inch from the ceiling, and it uses just two pieces of 6mm mdf. I'll hopefully get round to uploding the pics one day.
Using an LMP mount which I have to say is bloody brilliant! Looks great, fantastic build quality, thoroughly recommended.
My Hs10's up there with a diy mount here's a pic...
Wow, great looking mount Klippie, how did you make it?
I based my mount on ceiling fan which uses a plastic ball to make it hang level. I modified the design for projector use to give two plane adjustment for perfect projector to screen alignement without using a more complicated two linkage type affair which I dont think looks as tidy.
The mount is made from aluminium as you can see, I have a few machine tools at home i.e. pillar drill, lathe and milling machine so the various parts were easy to make.
Its getting on for two years old now and is still doing a great job of stopping my projector from crashing to the ground.
