been salivating at the thought of buying an hd player and all films being produced in hd,but then a sinking feeling as i noticed my dvd collection.
Will i have to start all over again? or will the new players play dvds,does anyone know.

Yes both the new HD-DVD and BlueRay will be backward compatible with your "old" DVD's

There's no real need to replace ALL of your dvd's....just replace the ones you watch most frequently and your favourites. Keep the dvd's for the rest. Would you really want to buy School of Rock on HD DVD or Blu-Ray?!

Great news, apparently they are going to produce all the Donny Osmond movies on Blue Ray.


Unlike most beer swilling, drug feed actors, Donny is a clean living dude.
