I have the Yamahas, they are setup for the bedroom system.

They aren't bad speakers, but not the best out there, only useful for movies. I have a Yamaha HTR5630 amp driving them too.

They are not bad for a small room, but you do get what you pay for.

These are probably a better buy: http://ws4.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=TANN-FX5.1-SIL and I believe they are discounted heavily in this months what hi-fi ad. I'll post back tonight when I double check the price, but I believe they are £149 with the what hi fi ad.

One trick to remember with Richer Sounds is to ask them if they stock first, tell them you are coming to pick it up, and only show them the ad after they have brought the speakers out.

read the small print, Hyperfi sales are notorious, they advertise a great price, but some of the too good to be true prices are just that. Next to the price you willl see "Ex Display Model Only", they tend to sell only one at this price, and it is usually something Richer Sounds is having on offer too.

Awful service too, their staff have been rude to me whenever I have called and requested something seen in their ad, and then questioned them on the point of advertising it if they don't have any in stock!! They aren't breaking any laws either it seems.

Only pay attention to their ads where the "Ex Display" message isn't shown.

Would still be a little weary, if they have these in stock, I might sell my Yammys and go and buy a set :D

I have heard stories of them saying that the items being in stock, and when turning up at the store, they are mysteriously sold, and another brand is pushed onto the customer.

Might give them a call tomorrow, they are a steal at £99!!!!
