ive got this graphics card in my pc.

Asus AMD Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II Graphics Card (4GB, GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0)

but mostly its sold out from vendors now and need to buy 2nd hand and seen this on ebay.

AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 DisplayPort HDMI 2 x DVI Graphics Card

but im not great with this stuff and wanna know if putting them both in the same rig will be fine if not what am i looking at to ensure i get the correct one. thanks

You’re better off selling the one you already have and replacing it with something newer TBH.

Crossfire or SLI are more trouble than they’re worth.

Crossfire does not work in all games (battlefield V for example).
If you are looking at a second 290x, then they cost about £80-100, I would sell the one you have and buy a RX580
The 290x is a good GPU still however so unless you are struggling I wouldn't upgrade
