Are there any petite amps out there!!!

Established Member

Im trying to find some receivers that are smaller in dimensions than the Onkyos (and most amps come to that)

I need HD sounds and would be paired up with kef 2005.3 speakers.

Have anybody got any suggestions????

The Sony 820 is probably one of the smallest but they're all pretty much the same width. Maybe the budget Yamahas might be smaller too (463/563). I'm afraid amps are that size for a reason. One manufacturer that makes compact receivers is Cambridge Audio but no HDMI audio, I'm afraid. If you went for a bluray player with multi-channel analogue output, you could use the multi-channel inputs for HD audio (decoded and converted to analogue within the player). What bluray player do you have?
