    Hi

I have a PJ as well as a 65 inch plasma. I'm in the middle of refurbing my house and trying to make plans for the new cinema set up. It's not a dedicated room and so I need to factor the following costs

    1) A new electric screen as the existing is a cheap manual pull down one.

    2) Fitting costs to have it recessed into the ceiling.

    3) Window treatments for light control. (There are lots of windows in the room)

    4) At some point a new PJ as my current one is about 6 years old and non 3d/4k etc.

So once all these costs have been taken into account it may make more sense to spend the money on a 80"+ TV and do away with a pj.
So are there any TVs of this size that give a comparable picture and don't cost as much as a new car?

    Many thanks

pretty much my thought process, however I'm limited to a 75" screen due to windows either side of the wall my tv is mounted.

you may be better looking on avs forum as a lot of the yanks have bigger tv's like this, 60"+ seems to be pushing it over here

not many by the looks of it.
id of preferred an electric, hidden screen and pj, but with my very white room, the cost of a decent screen and then getting it fitted would cost around £3500, then a decent pj to go with it so i made the choice to just have easy on the eye and less messing around with the living room environment and go for a large every day tv.
i think sharp do an 80" available here
