Question Are there any decent 40" 4K tv's anymore??

Having to downsize due to moving home and max size is 40".

Is there any hope for decent black levels and uniformity in this size bracket?

I see the new EX700 has local dimming but can't find any reviews.

Would love some opinions on trying to find a good set.

Only other options seem to be by Samsung and Loewe and the Chinese brands (but many will share the same type of panel; although the Samsung KU/MU60xx is supposed to still have a Samsung panel. The higher positioned KU/MU64xx uses the same/similar panel as the Panasonic)
