I've been looking for a 60" 1080p TV as i am thinking of retiring my projector. Thing is i can only find one or two models out there and they are all starting to say discontinued by manufacturer!? I do not want a 4k tv as i like displays to be native resolution (up-scaling is something i don't like) so have i missed the boat for a 1080p 60" TV?

    Cheers :)

No new 60" models indeed, maybe Sharp if they ever release something again in Europe ...

Sony's W80C is as available as a 50" or 55" unit, and if you don't mind going bigger, their W85C is available as a 65" unit. Panasonic's CS520 is available as a 50" unit, as is their CS600 (although it's newly-released, so hard to find). LG's LF650V is available as a 50" unit, and their LF630V and LF580V are both available as either 49" or 55" units. Samsung's J5500 is also available as a 50" or 55" unit.

All of the above are 2015 models, so they should be available.
