We've got a 32" Hisense in the kids room, I don't know if its IPS or VA. Is it possible to compare the viewing angles of this set to a 55 inch one? Ie, if I am happy with the viewing angle on this set, will it translate to the larger one?

I'm trying to figure out if i need to go to OLED for the living room set as the most extreme angle will be 50 or there abouts. But looking at the kids one it seems quite good for all angles.

Determining the panel type of a TV. if the 32" Hisense has good viewing angles its likely using an IPS panel which isn't the same VA type they use with their larger UHD models.

If you are viewing 50 degrees from the centre of the TV I'd almost certainly recommend an OLED, even the best LCD TVs for viewing angles won't look so great at that kind of angle.
