are screw's same as clip ?

    still looking for a amp.looking at review pictures of the rear of amps some have clip type for the speaker cable and others have screw type.
    do the speaker cables attach to either the same way ?

    The screw types are superior to the clip types. The clip types do not offer a very good connection and can only take limited diameter cables :eek: The screw types can (mostly) take banana plugs thet can take nearly any size cable that you would want to use. I would advise you to avoid amps with clip connectors.

    are 'banana' plugs easy to fit ?

    which is better thou? with 'banana' plugs or 'bare' wire?

    You can use just bare wires and many do but banna plugs are more convenient and easier to use.:)
    If you use just bare wire you use the screw mounts on the amps terminals to clamp the wire to make contact. You will have to make sure none of the wires touch other terminals (or wires) as this will cause clipping. If you use banana plugs the wire is clamped inside it and you usually have to remove bungs from the amps terminals and slide the banana plug in the exposed holes.
