Pretty much what the title says. Given the state of things do you knowledgeable folks see Pioneer plasmas increasing or decreasing in price in the near future? I am very tempted to buy PDP-LX5090 from TLC. My biggest concern is that the price of these will fall shortly after buying.

    Thanks in advance.

I imagine that they will stay fairly much the same. It looks like the demand for these still outstrips supply.

Read the title and was just popping into say the same as has been said already. The Pio 9 series is so much ahead of the competition at the moment that I can see people looking to snap up the stock that's available.

I seriously don't think that Pioneer will have to reduce the price to shift them.

If the price was to go anywhere based on the idea that Pioneer would cease production, then it would only go up due to their position as being 'the best'. Limited supply for somthing that is high demand always equals higher prices. Unless Pioneer have warehouses full of new TV's their itching to get rid of and flood the market - but thats unlikely.

If it were some two bit brand no one cared about then you might see retailers trying to get rid of them cheap but thats not the case here.
