A bit late now, but I have secured my projector to a joist using 2 10gx2" steel wood screws (with a philips style head). Will these hold the 5KG weight?
Slight corncerned that these might break?
    Any body got any opinions.
    Many thanks.

Its most unlikley that these will "break". If they are firmly fixed in to the timber, then they will stay in.

That's good to here, they are very tightly secured to the timber, so I should be OK then.
I can remove the bean bag from under it then!!
