Question Are HD tvs not being made anymore

We are after a 55 tv,Mrs is just interested in the bigger tv than what we have now which is a plasma 42,I i just want HD as the plasma is not Full HD. Not really bothered about 4k.

RicherSounds seem only to have 4k,We are after a decent tv with 1k budget.

Its blurays that we watch more than sky tv as we have not even upgraded to the HD package.

Full HD in 55" is definitely getting a bit thin on the ground these days.
The Sony 55"W809 for about £849 seems to get solid reviews...

I thought they were in the summer there was still quite alot,Cheers ill look at that Sony.

Just seen this one PANASONIC VIERA TX-65CS620B Smart 65" LED TV

A Big Saving but much bigger than a 55.
