Are HD TV prices likely do drop quite a bit after Christmas?

It's quite usual for prices to drop before Christmas. January sales seem to be getting earlier every year. Shops are getting desparate as customers are not spending as much as they did a couple of years ago.

they might go up or at least stabilise if demand picks up after Xbox 360 and Sky HD launches.
