    Two things -

    1. Thanx to all forum members - I only found this site about six weeks ago and have since picked up some excellent bargains and discovered some very good websites (Although my credit card has taken a right hammering !!)

    and

    2. One of these sites is Dvdheaven in Korea and as they have some apparent bargains I was wondering if anyone had any comments - good or bad !!

    Thanx :lease:

Hey paddy - I’ve not heard of DVD Heavan, Yes Asia gets mentioned quite a bit and seem to be reputable. Try and see how much they cost there.

    Hi Paddy

Welcome to the forums. We have dedicated forums on this website for all kinds of subjects. You originally posted this is the DVD Bargains forum which is where people post if they have found a great DVD bargain. Have moved this thread to the DVD supplier forum.

    Cheers
    Greg

DVDheaven are excellent, I ordered several Ltd edition packages from them & I've encountered no problems, whatsoever. They accept PayPal & stock some sweet DVDs :smashin:

    Another good site is www.dvdfromkorea.com/

Thanks, Videonasty. Other than PayPal, do they accept credit cards like Mastercard and AMEX? I don't want to go the PayPal route.

Also, how fast is their shipping?

It depends, I've ordered several items from them & they vary, as everything does from korea. I'd say a week :smashin:

Never ordered from them myself, but I asked this question over on another forum and they were recommended.

I decided to take the plunge and ordered from them. The title I ordered was the Special Edition of The Rock (Sean Connery, Nicholas Cage et. al.) for $12.53 . Strange thing is, when it came to the shipping options page, there were 4 options: EMS Premium, EMS, Parcel Post (Air) and Small Packet (Air). The shipping values for the respective options were:

    EMS Premium : $45.90
    EMS : $0.00
    Parcel Post : $0.00
    Small Packet : $1.67

I chose EMS ($0.00) and completed the ordering process successfully. Have any of you (Videonasty and any others) chose a shipping option that didn't have a charge against it? Was your order successfully processed and delivered? This was only for one title.

I'm just wondering now if I chose the wrong shipping option.

So in other words, you always had values in all 4 shipping options, right? I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

    Yes.

I've only ever ordered Limited edition DVD sets, or big DVDs, so I've always paid P&P from DVDheaven?

Can't understand why I didn't have any values in 2 of the 4 shipping options. Weird, like I said.

Finally got a reply from webmaster@dvdheaven.com . The reason that there were no values for the shipping options when I was checking out is that DVDHeaven ship to South Africa only via the EMS Premium service. This would have cost me $45.64 for one DVD!!! I cancelled my order AND closed my account. <SIGH>.
