in my opinion DLP`s produce the best picture quality for mainstream TV`s, and the xbox360 picture will be top notch....if connected correctly :)

Absolutely - I suffer from rainbows so normal viewing is a bit poor for me but when the 360 is on = WOW!

The 360 looks stunning on my 52" Tosh DLP rear pro set. I run it via componant and the image is amazing.

dlp good for vision quality great on the xbox360, but the problem is that it has a 16ms response time compared to plasma/lcd now well under 8ms and good old crts 1ms. think you'd only notice that online and a good ping can make a difference

Response time is an LCD thing - are you thinking of LCD rear projection and not DLP?

For the ultimate gaming experience go for a Sagem DLP, there was a thread recently on the Xbox360 connected to Sagem DLPs have a look!

You are right that response time in the main sense is an LCD thing, but i mean processing time from input to screen, all manufacturer reps i talk to just use response time for LCD, plasma and rear projecters. Or as the sagem manual puts it there is a slight delay in processing the picture hence the SPDIF and stereo audio correction plugs.

What I will say is a Xbox360 on a sagen hd45 is awesome, can't wait till the sky hd goes on

I use the Sony 3LCD 50" projector perfectly for all my gaming (xbox 360, xbox 1 etc..) and even the PC
