I had the Martin Logan motion 15s. Going to eventually move them to the rear and get floor standing. Went back to Magonolia for a second listen and heard the bowers and wilkins and though man they sound way more full and the center channel was leaps and bounds better. The guys talk me into the upgrade and I walk out with a pretty good deal. Unfortunately I am hearing a really harsh high end. Cymbals and words that start with "s" sound pretty distored. Almost sounds like people have lisps. Now that I have heard it I cant unhear it. Has anyone heard this speakers or own them and think differently? I feel like a jerk constatnly returning things but I would almost rather go back to the silky smooth high end and deal with the less full sound of the martin logans. Is there anything I can do to cut down on the high end distortion? I specifically paired with a warm sounding marantz amp to not create too much "brightness". Thanks for your input!
