    Hi all,

I know this sounds completely crazy....but I came back from work earlier and noticed a swarm of ants running over my Sky Wifi router. What on earth are they doing that for? Are ants attracted to electronics? What specifically are they attracted to, the wifi signal?

I think I know where they are coming in from.....last year in our rented apartment we had a leak and the builders who came to fix it were a bunch of cowboys, leaving the rotten chipboard/floorboard in the floor. Thinking we have a nest, since I have seen winged Males and small workers.......

I think they are on the look out for food particularly anything sugary. We get them in the kitchen and once an ant finds something it leaves a chemical trail and the rest follow!

I know that fire ants are attracted to electricity so it's not impossible.
