Are acoustically transparent screens good?

Hi all,

am completely new to screens and projectors so apologies if these are obvious questions.
We’re about to move house abs am considering having a projector and a screen installed in the living room that can be pulled down over the TV as an added treat for ‘movie nights.’

the TV is a 65 inch OLED and will be getting the most use. So as to preserve the aesthetic, I’d rather not have my front two speakers spread two far out so am considering an acoustically transparent screen so that it can be pulled in front of the speakers. My question however is whether they are actually any good?

With thanks

Ive been told they wont work very well pulled in front of a tv...due to reflections etc?..

the dreamscreen v7 would be fine with anything behind it, it has a black backing that is welded to the back.
I think they’re doing a pull down screen as well 🤔
