Arching dvds to the hd on a panasonic DMR - EH60D

    Tried to copy some dvds on to the hdd and it keeps saying that they are copy protected is their neway around this

    Interesting question, i'd also like to know. My little girl is a big fan of Dora the Explorer :) and it would sure be easy to have these episodes on the hard disk...
    I realise it's a touchy subject.

    Yeah i realise that 2. I am sure there must be a way around it, it just makes life easier to put things on to the hdd than have to root out the dvd

    I haven't tried this but I would imagine if you played the dvd on a player that was hacked, where macrovision had been removed as part of the multiregioning process, and connected it to the scart of the panny, then you could archive to the HD... in the same way as connecting a vcr and archiving your video tapes.
