Arcams sound = a bit distant

    Hi all fellow Arcamowners,
    Is there a way with speakers or cables(powercords,sp. cables or interconnects) to get the sound less distant ?

    Would it be less distant if i biamp ?

    It would really help if you listed your system, room size and what kind of dampening/furniture you have applied.

    what do you mean with distant ? There are multiple meaning of the word distant, so just want to be sure. Also, how does your set look like?

    I think i know what you mean... but its kinda hard to explain because what i think in my mind is contradictory.

    The sound stage of arcam is good my in my opinion it puts you on the stage or close to it.. the seperation is very good (stereo mode).

    Compared that to e.g a nad... the sound stage is good but it puts you a little far away from the stage and seperation is ok-good (stereo mode).

    If this is what u mean? Thats the quality of arcam.
