I'm a Hi-Fi greenie and proud owner of an Arcam Xeta One - can anyone tell me if this is upgradeable to support 5.1 surround sound?

    Yours naive,

Sorry - no it isn't. It would involve huge surgery and associated development costs as most of the innards would have to be replaced, there is no front panel display, not enough microprocessor power etc., etc.

Insted we developed some very good sounding receivers, AVR200, 250, 300 which in the latter two cases support most everything at a retail price comparable with the Xeta One. Such is progress :)
