    Hello

I removed all my av equipment to redecorate my room. Putting everything back now and I seem to have mixed up or lost the original power lead for my Arcam P7 power amp.

I do have other kettle cables, can I just use those or should I try and source an original replacement cable from Arcam.

I tried doing a bit of research, and there's alot of talk about upgrading to "special" power cables. I was quite happy with the original ones performance and just want the same again but don't want to damage the amp by putting any old cable in.

Any advice would be much appreciated...

Any 13A (i.e. fused at 13 Amp) kettle lead will be fine and you can happily use "any old 13A cable" and achieve identical measurable performance.

Then your toast will pop out already buttered and with your favourite spread already applied

I made another one today for £8 in parts. It's rhodium and cryo.

I haven't run it in yet of course.
