Hi I'm wonder if someone has expience Arcam's P1 with Denon?

I'm going to use the Denon as a pre/processor and two P1's for the stereo speakers one for each, the rest of the Denon ampliefiers are for the center and surround speakers.

The speakers are Dynaudio contour S3.4 for stereo, the SC for the center and the S1.4 as surround speakers.

Does the Denon a good job with the Arcams P1's?

so you`re going to put about 300 watts each through the front speakers and nowhere near that through the rear. won`t that be slightly unbalanced.?

Using separate amps for the fronts together with a reciver is a common "upgrade". Then it would be natural to have larger efects for those.
How the P1 will behave together with your reciver is another issue. The gain should be about the same, or you will only have the correct sorround at a specific sound level.
