DV79 or 3910, that is the question?
Whichever I go for it will be feeding a Sony HS50 via HDMi and a Fujitsu VHA30 (plasma) via Progressive, so it has to be good at both. It wont be used for CD's.

Which would you go for, and where would you buy it?

    Thanks :hiya:

If you try a search on the forum you will find plenty of comments and comparisons on the two players - consensus seems to be Arcam if you want not less than a 50-50 mix of film and music (in favour of music) and the Denon if film is more important.

You will not be disappointed by either so get yourself along to your nearest dealer and demo them both then decide rather than base your decision on other people's comments

The original poster didn't mention pioneer....

No at the secrets the Pio (868avi or US version 59avi) beat the Arcam DV79 (the player the original poster is interested in) by a long margin.......

Always take any review with a grain of salt though... but that's another matter,
