Wasn't entirely sure where to post this considering it's not a for sale thread (yet!) so I put it here :)

If I was to sell the following equipment:

    Arcam Delta 290 integrated amplifier
    Arcam Delta 290P Power Amplifier
Arcam Delta 270 (I think?) CD player
    Linn Keilidh floorstanding speakers

How much would I be looking at getting should we sell A) each individual piece of equipment and B) it all as a package?

    Thanks for any advice

Hi Howard....you may well find that you get more for a system as separate items,as this was put together to your requirements, and often others will either have part of a system to upgrade or change.

In terms of resale values....you can find good condition Keilidhs selling in shops for up to £450,so if you add in a margin for selling, you would on average be looking at £250-350 at the outside, and less if the condition was poor.

As for the Arcam items,I really don't have any idea of the likely value, but you could try looking at ebay and tracking prices there,as well as having a look through www.ex-dem.co.uk where I found the following:

    Arcam 290 integrated £250
    Arcam 270 CD player £150

You'd need to look around for a bit to get a feel for the average price you're likely to get,but I do think you'll get more as items sold separately.

Hmm I've been looking around on Ebay and such and it seems these prices might be a bit unrealistic.

I think around £250 for both amps and £300 for the speakers sounds more reasonable, unless someone can solidly advise that it's worth more?

Much what I'd originally said for the speakers, but it all depends on who's buying, and how much they want that speaker/amp at that time.....you may get more, and certainly will from a private sale,as a dealer may offer you somewhat less.
