Congratualtions and thanks to everyone at Arcam for outstanding service.
I recently bought a second hand DV27 from a dealer, only to find the casework vibrated occassionally with certain DVDs. Dealer checked with Arcam- seems early models didn't have the "Hush Pack" fitted.

Arcam picked up the DV27 from my local dealer. One week later I got my player back, Hush Pack fitted and also a new drive-"just to bring it up to latest spec" . Cost? Nil...nothing...free of charge...
not even postage!
The seven days to turn it around included delivery, collection, a weekend and a Bank Holiday- remarkable.

A big thankyou to John Dawson for adopting a policy of exceeding customers expectations- and thanks to Matt in Technical Support for terrific service.

Wow now thats my kind of company, i am just about to purchase a DV79 and a A300 amp so that kind of customer service puts me totally at ease in my purchase decisions.

Wish I lived in England, most Dutch retailers are only big in arrogance, not in service...
Their motto seems to be: Dunno, won't and can't.
And the import rep refers to the dealers...catch22...
