Arcam DV89 and Recordable DVD.

    There is no mention in the manual of which recordable DVD's the machine can read.

    Just wondered what everybody had best results with?

    My burner can do DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, and is dual layer.

    You will have the best results with DVD-R as this has the highest level of compatibility. I have recorded and finalised several DVD-Rs on my Toshiba recorder and they all play without any problems on all bar 2 players in the shop including my own DV89.

    Have played back DVD+RW without any problems on my Dv89
