    Hi

Has anybody had any problems with the zoom function of either the Arcam DV88 or DV27 - All I get is the hand sign
I have almost 200 DVD's and so far I can't find one of them where the zoom function on my DV27 will work. I had the same problem
with a DV88. When it comes down to it it's not really important but my better half is driving me crazy for spending £1600 on a DVD player that doesn't totally work

Zoom works fine on my DV27 on all the DVD's I've tried it on, only had my player just over a week, so I've been playing a lot :) Do you know what firmware version you have, as I understand from reading a review some older version's didn't actually have zoom capability despite having the button.. (I'm running 1.74)

    Hi Thanks for answering
I've got a brand new player fresh out of the factory with the firmware at 1.74. I guess it's time to speak to Arcam

For the zoom feature to work you need to change the screen size settings in the setup menu, i had this prob, but now its sorted. Dv88 is a nice piece of kit.

    Hi

    Thanks Mate

The DV88 is a nice piece of kit
The DV27 that I upgraded to was even better

To be honest it was only until Blu-Ray came along that I felt that moving on from these was a wise decision after all

    Many thanks

    RON
