Arcam CD36 - tray won’t open

Hi guys.

Any CD36 owners out there who’ve had this problem?

I press the load button, screen says “open” for a couple of seconds, tray stays closed and then the CD loads again.

Something easy to fix, or is it back to Arcam?

Could be a broken or slipped drive belt. You could open it up yourself and have a look. Arcam support are pretty good and may be able to help you. Other wise you could take it to a repairer and get a quote which you will usually have to pay for. Arcam do charge rather heavily for repairs out of warranty.
