Arcam AVR300 max vol question

Through the remote control, I seem to be able to set the 'on' volume to around 75 and the max volume to 100.
In operation the unit won't go above 93Db on the readout - is there any reason why? The speakers (Dali Ikon 5's, 2x wall mounted, Sub, & Vokal 2) seem to have plenty in them but the amp won't let them go further.
Any help most appreciated.

The entire volume control range in the AVR300 is 100dB. So if you have set +7dB on your trims then those 7dBs are taken from the 100 full range. If this is a problem for you I would recomend rebalancing your speakers using a lower referance level. Normally 75dB is used but it will still give you balanced sound if you reset the trims so all the speakers are at say 70dB or even 67dB. This way you will be turnign them down rather than up and the range will be availbale in the volume control.
